The Frozen Woods of Esum
Here are some photos from our Christmas outing to the “Woods of Esum.” I call them them the Woods of Esum because this particular city park, here in Stratford, Ontario, is a location used in my upcoming novelette EsuM.
The first photo is actually a collage of the same location from last summer and now this winter. Quite the contrast Looks like two parallel universes.

On the left is me giving Jonah some amateur chiropractic treatment during a beautiful summer day earlier this year. On the right is my wife Nicole walking with Jonah on yesterday’s cold Christmas morn’ right before a storm hit. Looks like two different worlds!
Here’s one of my son riding a log with the old cemetery climbing the hill in the background…
Here are some snails we found hibernating by a tree…
Jonah and I with some geese and ducks who didn’t think Florida looked good this year…
And here’s the one horse open sleigh we used for transportation…
Hope you had a happy Christmas,
